Compagnie de Financement Foncier issued on Wednesday 5th January a new Obligation Foncière amounting to €1 billion with a 5-year maturity.
Many investors found this transaction attractive considering the Compagnie de Financement Foncier’s signature.
Within a few hours, the book order overpassed €1.1 billion, allowing the launch of the €1 billion transaction.
Paul Dudouit, Managing Director, Head of Medium and long term funding for Crédit Foncier says: “Despite the fact that end of 2010 was marked by the sovereign debt’s crisis, the success of this transaction demonstrates the right positioning of Compagnie de Financement Foncier‘s signature regarding Obligations Foncières, its ability to collect important resources in time records and finally its capacity to benefit from market opportunities at any time”.
